Grades 1-3
Reading is an important foundation for everything. You read for word problems in Algebra, in geometry, and basic math! The aim of this program is to allow children from grades 1-3 understand and build a foundation using words and comprehension that sets them up for academic success. The subjects that are addressed with this course are: Verbs, Adjectives, Vocabulary, Context Clues, and Reading Comprehension. All these not only set them up for success in higher level classes but also in future occupations. These skills such as Comprehension and Context clues not only help them understand the world around them but also help them problem-solve. The time we shall have together will be focusing on and understanding these.
