Grades 3-5

This course invites young writers to immerse themselves into the world of creative writing, poetry, and storytelling. Students will learn vital skills such as brainstorming, imagery, and plot development by engaging in fun free writing activities, receiving feedback for their work, and reading excerpts from various literary texts. By the end of this course, students will obtain the tools they need to not only compose a short story or poem, but also to articulate their thoughts and unleash their creativity.
